Main Hall

The Main Hall is perfect for a range of private functions, such as wedding receptions, birthday parties, christenings, charity functions, shows or other events.

The Main Hall benefits from large windows and double doors overlooking the Terrace and Fyfield Sports Field. Additional light is provided by high level windows along the back wall.

Various layouts for private functions are possible, with a maximum capacity of 100 for sit down meals. The Main Hall has access to the kitchen via a serving hatch, making it ideal for functions and activities that require catering facilities.

Neutrally decorated, the Main Hall offers hirers for private functions a large blank canvas to be dressed according to the needs of the event. Fyfield Village Hall is fully licensed for alcohol and music and provides free wi-fi (courtesy of Gigaclear) for event and function attendees.

The Main Hall is regularly used by a number of local groups and classes for activities including dance, exercise classes and a monthly lunch club. Regular classes and activities benefit from free use of the kitchen as well as a discount on regular hire rates.

The Main Hall is separated from the Monica Couling Room by a fully foldaway wall, allowing the halls to be joined together to create one very large space.

Monica Couling Room

The Monica Couling Room is the newer of our two halls and is large enough for a wide variety of functions and activities.

The Monica Couling Room also benefits from a fantastic outlook over the Terrace and Fyfield Sports Field. It also has direct access to the Terrace and additional natural daylight from high level windows along the back wall.

As with the Main Hall, the neutral decoration allows the Monica Couling Room an adaptable space for hirers’ needs.

The Monica Couling Room is often used for smaller group activities, including pilates, yoga and a local bridge group.
